I got an urgent email from paypal (supposedly) that said:
One of our Customer Service employees has already tryed to telephonically reach you.
What the? Do you think I'm going to answer anyone that uses the word "telephonically," let alone spells tried with a "Y"?
You're going to have to try harder than that to steal my money, you bastards.

What was the name of the sender? They always sound like porn names to me.`
Don't you mean they'll have to "trie" harder than that?
I get e-mail from "paypal" every week, trying to get me to verify my credit card info. Apparently, this is a scam called "phishing." I almost fell for it the first time, but thankfully realized it was a hoax. Isn't it annoying, though?
And who tries to reach people "telephonically"? Is that like "telepathically"?
cb: "You need to change your telephone message, your sister's 5 minute long recording is still on there."
bf: "oh yeah..."
fiddling with machine
machine: beep! "please record your message after the beep" beep!
bf: "hi, you've reached blah blah blah please leave a message, if you're a telemarketer, hang up NOW."
cb: "great message..."
grrrrrrr! I HATE when that happens!
