I may not have a lot to give
but what I got I'll give to you

At my old job I never got a Christmas bonus. That's pretty much a 7 year run of "Happy Birthday Jesus, hope you like crap." Seeing as how I'm not a 'real' employee at this new job, I doubt I'll be getting one this year, either.

However, I was contemplating, WHAT IF I got the world's best bonus someday? What total consumer-tastic thing would I spend it on? In all honesty, I'd probably take the $$ and head over to Cook's Library and buy a ton of cookbooks. Then I'd buy a time machine and give myself time to cook and bake everything that sounded interesting to me.

Well, that time machine thing isn't realistic, but I do intend on heading over there to buy me-self some cookbooks sometime next week. Sometime when I am not working. Which is...never.

I'm pretty sure no one is reading this blog anymore, as you have all probably started your vacations already. But if you are there, let me know - if you could buy yourself something truly fantastic, what would it be? And don't say love. Phooey. I'm asking for purely superficial things. You can't buy love anyway. John Lennon told me so.

well, if we are being materialistic here, it would have to be a bag from gucci to use as my knitting bag. then of course i would have to head over to the yarn shop and get everything that i love, which is literally everything.

Christmas bonus? What the hell is that? It must be like this elusive "Christmas vacation" I keep hearing about. No such thing for me (once in '99 it happened). I'll be here reading every day.

Oh, I'd buy a Tokidoki LeSportsac bag, for sure.

Oooh yikes!! Hehhheh. What a good question. As far as material things go, I think I would probably buy some lenses for my camera and maybe outbid 101001 people on eBay for a Wii for the hubby, cuz he's so great. But in the realm of intangible ... Time Time Time Time Time and maybe time. ;)

I would buy a white passat station wagon. Just a plain one with cloth seats and a really good heater.

Hey cuz! I'm still reading and will be reading while at work next week too.
If the big bonus came my way, I would buy tons of purses - one for each day...for a year. Get some crap for my dogs to destroy and totally pimp out my baby's room. My husband would ask for HUGE tv. If he's nice, maybe...

Goody! What a fun question. I would buy a black Porsche 911 Carrera (hard top) and lots-o-purses.

I'm still reading as long as you're writing! ;)

I would buy a condo or house! Or maybe a new car...or some really cool kitchen stuff!

I'd buy the Canon Rebel SLR camera. I'm just croking for it. I got a Christmas bonus once, but, it was given to us the same time we were told that our contract had been canceled, and that occurred at the staff Christmas party, so that bonus really cancelled itself out.

Some better lenses for my SLR would be nice. A quality wacom tablet would be awesome too. But the best would be a Bernina Serger.

Well, we're in baby I'd say baby furniture: crib, changing table, cool glider, non pastel crib bedding. And a DVD camcorder...and the Aperture (sp?) program from Mac. :)

Bags and kicks are my thing, then I'd get someone to build me a walk-in closet to display them all.
