Dwight:In the old days, the women would bear many children, and if there weren't enough grains or vegetables, they would eat the weakest of the brood.

Kids are annoying. Let me clarify - I took the Kid to a birthday party this weekend, all the children there, he knew from school. When we drove home the Kid said, "Ricky talked to me today!!" I didn't know what he meant exactly, then he went on to say, "Ricky NEVER talks to me...ever. He has his own friends." God, that's depressing. Even at 4 years old there are cliques. It made my sad little heart turn to ice and break, thinking that someone wouldn't want to be friends with my kid.

Then the Baby comes home from school to tell me that he 'hates his hair' and he wishes his hair was 'cut like Andy's, cause his looks better.' What the. I told him, 'F*ck Andy, and his hair. Someday Andy is going to knock over a liquor store in Encino and no one will give a f*ck about Andy's nice hair.' No, I didn't say that, but, you know. Now I've got a 2 year old with peer pressure.

It's only going to get tougher as they grow up.
sigh. Kids are annoying.

Tell me about it! My 5 year old niece loves kindergarten. I asked her what she liked about it and she said: "Lunch in the cafeteria because I get to carry a tray like in Mean Girls." WTF? And then they had to tell the teacher what they wanted to be when they grew up and she says: "Model"

And don't get me started on the 3 year old...

But when sh*t goes down at the generic Chuck E Cheese & I see some kid push my nieces around, I am not above shoving a kid & telling them something. And I think to myself, oh hell, I'm going to be one of *those* parents one day. Whatevs. Bring it.

But that Ricky & Andy - they sound like little sh*ts!! They should STFU!

I told my son that Brady RSVP'd yes to his birthday party today and he told me that Brady is Emma's friend.

So I was all like, well, I guess he is your friend too, b/c he is coming to your party.

He didn't quite get it.

I always have to tell SuperChic that sometimes kids have bad days and don't want to play with anyone. Ask them again tomorrow. She tries so hard to be liked.

At least this year of Kindergarten does not include a bossy little girl and a bully of a little boy. They both happily moved on to first grade. The only sad thing is that when she sees them she very loudly, and happily, says "hi" and they completely ignore her.

Even though it's totally sad that the kids are feeling pressure already at such a young age, this post cracked me up. Particularly the bit about Encino.

Other people's kids are the worst. My parents took my 4-year-old to church the other day and he stayed in the Sunday school room. Yesterday he told me, "I made a new friend at Sunday school. Only, he wasn't very nice. He was throwing things at other kids. Then he threw stuff at me and I had to hide under a desk."

Where was the teacher?!

Through my children I am reliving the ugliness of childhood and I can't believe I still wanted to have children! What was I thinking? No one deserves that.

And F*ck Andy! Your kids are the coolest, the post about the Baby wishing dinosaurs ruled the Earth totally broke my heart.

Unfortunately, this crap goes on and on. I feel it in my workplace and HATE it. I think it's even worse than in high school. Maybe because then I didn't give a crap what anyone thought. I wish I still didn't.

Thank god my son is only going to be 13 months. 2+ right now scares me. I mean I remember even in daycare and kindergarten when I was a kid is was cliquey but it gets worse with each passing generation.

I also need to stop watching Dr. Phil is messing with my brain. Gender confusion yesterday I nearly put my foot through the tv.

:P Lmfao.
